With DriveClub now officially delayed, Sony has announced that Contrast will be added to the day 1 PS+ instant game collection. Also announced, Killzone Shadow Fall will have an open MP weekend for PS+ members on December 28-29.

Am clearly undecided, have decided not to be a day one buyer of either system ... but am looking forward to reading reactions from both sides when the systems are released. That my 2004 TV has a DVI input kinda sucks. I use a hdmi-dvi adaptor for my PS3 with the sound going through a DAC, while my 360 is simply component cables. I honestly can't decide which gen 4 system to buy (leaning to PS4), so you guys and your impressions will probably make me decide.

The main deciding factor should IMO be the inability to use the XBOne's non-gaming features. Since you are in Canada most them won't be available

If I had to predict my first 4th gen system, so far the PS4 is ahead.

Not sure if this has been answered, but will the big box stores like Walmart, Target, Best Buy etc be selling the PS4 in-store without pre-ordering on launch day?

According to that guy, BestBuy will be selling them based on first come first serve.

I wouldn't count on walking into one of those big box stores on 11/15 and getting a ps4.

Read the thread. If your pre ordered you're guaranteed a system and they should have separate lines for preorder and walk in like everyone else
