You will 100% get your console on release day (if not the day before) with Amazon. I've got Amazon Prime as well and they never fail to get what I ordered on the day it is supposed to arrive. The only problem for me is that UPS doesn't deliver to my neighborhood until after 6PM

They fucked up GTA5 for me (still not sure wtf happened, if they ever shipped it or it got lost). Ended up buying it at a GS and getting a refund+credit from Amazon.

But, I'm optimistic the ps4 delivery will be cool.

I'm hoping to find one at Sam's Club on release day, I never preordered one. I wasn't planning on buying one until I heard BF4 will be 64 players, instant console seller right there.
