Was watching a PS4 stream of NBA Live a little bit ago. Man that game looks fucking terrible.

wow, really? this is one of the best features of the consoles.
It won't play CDs or MP3s - for now. Sony surprised a lot of people when it said media server functionality would not be a part of the PS4. In short, that meant people couldn't stream their home videos or music through the system. Additionally, CD playback wasn't built into the machine, presumably because CDs aren't nearly as popular as they were eight years ago.
The outcry could prompt changes, though. Shuhei Yoshida, president of PlayStation Worldwide Studios, told GiantBomb the teams are already working on a possible fix, saying "the system guys are discussing how and when we can put these features on PS4."Comment

Lolz. Glad I'm waiting until they fix everything and release a different one at this point lol. Perfectly happy with my PS3 anyway.

Spoken like a true person not getting a [insert any new Xbox/PS gaming system over the years] at launch.
BTW, had to cancel my Amazon B2G1 free because the games weren't going to be delivered until after I was already gone on vacation. Last 2 days I have search 5 Targets, none had BF4, FIFA, and NBA2K14 all in stock. Now Target online is out of all of those as well. This reminds me of back when I stood in line at Wal-mart for the PS2 launch. I arrived at around 3pm in the afternoon, 2nd in line. There were about 10 of us in line until about 8 or 9 pm when people started to file in rapidly to wait in line. The lady that was designated to sell us the consoles told us that they only had 19 consoles so after the 19th person got in line they started turning people away.
Around 10 or 10:30ish there were hundreds of people just waiting around even though they were told they would not be able to purchase a PS2. The manager apparently lost his mind and decided that there would be a lottery instead of first come first serve.
This set off a frenzy of yelling and screaming, including the Wal-mart lady that was in the electronics department. She went apeshit on the manager and he fired her right there on the spot. She didn't seem to care and stayed there defending all of us in line and saying she was calling the local news about what was happening (she actually did call them).
A while later the manager finally reconsidered and kept us original 19 being the ones to get the consoles, which then pissed off everyone that wasn't in line but the decision stayed. I got my PS2 and Madden and promptly headed home all giddy.
I still remember that Wal-mart lady defending us as if she was getting a console herself and even losing her job over it. Bless her heart.

Walked right up to Target hoping for buy 2 get 1... they had 7 consoles so i bought one, outside UPS now they open in 1 min grabbing my 2nd console whoooo

I am slightly annoyed that the PS4 isn't compatible with Logitech Harmony remotes. I really liked it with the 360. Perhaps someone will come out with a usb dongle.Comment
