Every time I read anything about PvZ: Garden Warfare, it's extremely positive. I've seen multiple sites saying it's one of, in not the best game(s) until the end of Spring releases. While it looks like a lot of fun, I can't expect that it would hold my attention past the Titanfall release which would mean it won't get a purchase from me. I'm just really surprised by the amount of positivity everyone has had regarding it.

Let's just settle down. PvZ is a fun time waster, not some GotY candidate.

That's what I'm thinking when reading the articles but they just keep going with the positive feedback. For those that haven't seen it, it's nothing like your average PvZ game.

Just had anther first. I'm in the middle of playing Ryse and all of a sudden it flashes to the dashboard. I definitely wasn't saying anything. I figured I'll just click back on Ryse and pick up right where the hiccup was. Nope. It completed restarted the game. I have to replay the past ten minutes or so. That was fucking weird and bullshit.

Yeah the games tend to crash once in a while.

It's a memory leak. If you physically close everything after you are done using them, it will happen lass often. If you don't, the system overloads and does that and can sometimes freeze up. Taters had this happen the other night and I helped him fix it. Just make sure you close all the apps and games once you are through with them.

I know you're just fucking with me but to be honest I believe every "app" has to be installed on the XBone before you can use it, unlike PS4. So in order to use Internet Explorer I would have to install it first. I haven't installed anything besides games. So, in other words, no porn for this guy.

I tried to play some co-op Ryse with my buddy last night and it just got stuck trying to load the match. We tried at least five times and couldn't get it to work. We shut down the app completely between tries too.

Xbox One (and Xbox 360) have a strong showing in December

December NPD – Xbox One leads in December

December NPD Group figures released today revealed Xbox One was the number one selling console in the market in the U.S., selling 908,000 units in December. Additionally, Xbox 360 continued to see strong momentum with 643,000 units sold in December, putting it in the number three spot overall, and lead for last generation hardware. Together, Xbox One and Xbox 360 held 46 percent of the hardware market share in the U.S. and showed a 10 percent year over year growth from December 2012.

“We’re grateful for the excitement and support of our fans – many purchasing their next Xbox console and many joining the Xbox family for the first time,” said Yusuf Mehdi, corporate vice president of marketing, strategy and business for Xbox. “Our journey is just starting, with more innovation, games and entertainment coming in 2014 and far beyond.”

December 2013 NPD highlights include:

Total combined retail spend on the Xbox platform (Xbox One and Xbox 360) in December reached $1.39 billion, 50 percent of the combined software, hardware and accessories spend in the U.S. (Source: NPD Group, December 2013).
During the month of December, Xbox One held six of the top 10 spots on the new generation console game title list: “Battlefield 4,” “Forza Motorsport 5,” “Dead Rising 3,” “Ryse: Son of Rome,” “Madden NFL 25” and “Call of Duty: Ghosts” (Source: NPD Group, December 2013).

Fans continue to show their excitement for new generation Xbox One games, with U.S. consumers purchasing an average of 2.9 games* per console since launch.
