Just got me thinking, with this new "run free" addition to Madden, Tim Tebow will probably be a boss in the next game. Tebow was pretty ineffective as a runner because, at least in my experience he didn't truck anyone. If I can start trucking defenders with Tim Tebow at QB... watch out, I'm coming for y'all.

I've always wanted to try to run a run first offense with a running QB in next gen Madden but I haven't been very good at it. I love trying to imitate the same kind of offense the Broncos ran in 2011. Maybe I'll finally be able to in Madden 25.

Yea i like the idea of the running game being more prevalent in next years game. Will allow for (hopefully) a multitude of different offensive styles.

No Madden 25 for WII U

The Madden series will not be appearing on Wii U in 2013, according to an EA Sports representative.


After speculation that the system would miss out on this year's Madden NFL 25, it is now confirmed that the series will skip Nintendo platforms for the first time since 1991.


Last year, a version of Madden NFL 13 came out for both Wii and Wii U. The Nintendo 64, GameCube, and Wii all had versions of Madden throughout their lives. In 2011, the 3DS launched with a version of Madden, and after that, EA confirmed that the series was not appearing on Nintendo's portable again.


The official statement from EA Sports is: "We will not be releasing a Wii U version of Madden NFL in 2013. However, we have a strong partnership with Nintendo and will continue to evaluate opportunities for delivering additional Madden NFL products for Nintendo fans in the future.

I'm pretty sure I've heard from the Madden crew in past years go on about how they improved running and footwork. Wasn't that what locomotion was about?

lmao, every year we hear about how some area of the game has been improved, "re-worked", has "increased ai", refined collision detection, advanced foot plant technology, streamlined ball physics...blah blah blah...still the same game every year.

The game has been getting better every year since Madden 10 too though imo. Maybe not as much as some would like but we are definitely seeing progress.
