Would anyone be interested in doing a ladder system for the Show instead of a league? Leagues die way too easily because of scheduling conflicts. With a ladder you just play whoever you want whenever you want. I had an idea for a scoring system.
+1 for a win
+1 for each 5 point difference in overall team rating in a win
+1 for a win over a higher ranked opponent
All total points will be divided by the number of games you've played to get your ladder score. That way if someone has 100 points but has played 50 times, they are technically ranked lower than someone who has 50 points but only in 10 games played.
All game results and teams used will be posted by the winner and verified by the loser with a thanks. At the end of each day I'd collect all the results and come up with scores for the ladder.
To add a little bit of fun(gambling) into the mix we can have everyone who wants to be involved give 10 dollars and at the end of the baseball season, whoever has the highest ladder score gets all the money. It will encourage people to play with shitty teams and better opponents to try to gain extra points down the stretch.
