Help Setting up my PS3 Online

I've had my PS3 since May of last year but I've never really played it much. My 360 is getting boring through and I want something else to play so I want to hook my PS3 Online up. Only problem is my PS3 is downstairs and my router is upstairs. I can't move my PS3 upstairs because my parents watch movies on it sometimes downstairs on the big screen T.V. so is there any other way to set it up without using an ethernet cable since it is definetely too short to go from the basement to the upstairs.

Help is apperciated. Also what are some good Online PS3 gameS?

I was looking at getting MLB 09 The Show and Killzone

Killzone is fun online. I think MLB is still having issues with Multiplayer. I would check with Houtz. But if you want MLB for franchise or RTTS, go ahead, there isn't a game out there thats better.

I have NHL 09, Midnight Club: LA and Stranglehold too. NHL and Midnight are fun, very fun games.

Stranglehold is a great popcorn shooter to play, when you are sick of your regular games. And the special edition you can grab for 20 bux now has the John Woo flick Hard Boiled on Blu Ray too

Definitely Killzone, but yeah the show is kind of laggy online still. 2K9 and Madden are decent though, if you can find sim players.

I have 2K9 and Madden for 360 and I think I might wait for the 2010 sports game before buying one for PS3.

But Killzone and the Show are definetely going to be in my system by the end of this week.

It does. I didn't like it all that much though. The single player is the best single player I've ever played, EVER.

The game is borrrrrrrrrrrrrrring. Biggest mistake I made last year, the game was Resistance re-hashed. Graphics are amazingly beautiful but the gameplay is repetitive, almost to the point where you play one of those 3rd person fighting/RPG games, like Heavenly Sword. Bunch of mutants come at you, you take them down, advance through, more mutants, bad guy, repeat, rinse.

Here's another you could buy used and enjoy:

Midnight club is very fun I really like that and can't wait for the DLC tomorrow for that. If you have some extra money maybe look in the playstation store and get burnout or socom. Socom is fun once you get used to it and if you like racing games burnout is a beast too. MGS is a must have if you own a PS3 killzone is too if your into that type of game. Maybe pick-up fallout 3 if you have not played it on 360. It's not online but it's amazing.
