I have so many memories of playing my N64 with friends, the Golden Gun, shiiiit. I haven't played it in years (and haven't played the new one, no idea if its any good or not), but man the stuff that went down in multiplayer was so zany and crazy

The game I spent the most time playing online, ever, was SOCOM 2. This was pre-MM and nearly cost me my marriage, lol. I would play until 5 or 6 in the morning.

The best I ever got at an online shooter was at RS:V. This is pretty much where I started to really "meet" people I knew online. Maynard, Twigg, jms and goddamned CrimsonGhost with his fucking C4 grenades. There will never be an online game I have as much fun playing as that one

I have a few that are high up there and it's tough for me to choose just one. They are Battlefield 2: Modern Combat (I actually bought it twice, first on Xbox and then on 360 because they promised jets and hit for next gen but it never came to fruition), Halo 2, Bad Company 2, Killzone 3 and Battlefield 3. Rainbow 6 Vegas is up there too. I also have a special affinity for the first GRAW. I just remember thinking that it played like SOCOM but looked 1000 times better.

Counter-Strike on PC.

It's not even close, friend of mine got me into Half-life 2 and it was one of the games that came in the bundle from Steam. Btwn the Community generated maps, fast paced gameplay, n spray painting Angel Eyes's Ass nxt to every victim..it was just pure Fun rolling in with a crew and running shit. Got into map making in that game too, no other shooter ever came close to being as much fun as that game..

I played so much Quake 3 and Unreal Tournament 2 on my PC that my wife was seriously pissed. Of course, she was 25 at the time and needed constant attention. Now she is happy if I am playing a game and she can watch some Lifetime Movie shit on TV without me complaining about it the whole time
