I think they shut down the servers for Vegas. Vegas 2 is still up though.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I played the game over the span of a few years. I was just saying that if I were to play the game 24 hours a day, 45 days of my life were spent playing the game. That's only counting the 'in-game' hours. The number of hours I spent in lobbies just chatting is probably at least another 600-700.

I played the game consistently (5 days a week or so) for about 2 years, but once SOCOM 3 came out, my clan kinda split up and a lot of the fun was lost. Then glitchers started to overrun SOCOM II and I had to finally put the controller down.

SOCOM II was the closest I've ever come to gaming addiction. I skipped school many a time because I was up until 5am playing a clan match. I could easily pull 12 hour gaming sessions at my worst point.

            Totally worth it, though.

Servers are still up. Only a couple matches going on right now though.

Edit: Maybe more like a handful+ now that I've refreshed for the past 5 minutes.

Does anyone here still have this? It would be cool to play it again.

They dont need to come out with anything like Socom/Socom 2 anymore. Lot of wasted life.

I don't know what it was, but I loved Team Fortress 2. I'd play that game for hours and not even realize it. Behind that unlike most I am a COD guy, so probably COD 4 or MW2 would be behind TF2.

                    Does LAN link count ??

                    If so

                    1.DOOM for Playstation.
                    2. Gears of War 1. Gameplay was better in Gears 2 but Party chat and the Ranked setup fucked up the social aspect. Only MMer that played was QuietStorm.
                    3. Quake 3 on Dreamcast. Played hours with co workers (we all worked in a freind owned game store) spent the day talking shit and killing each other at night.

RB6 Vegas was alot of fun with MMers. Apparently ChrimsonGhosts C4 is legendary. I was so heated in one map where I couldnt go 5 steps without dying from Gas or some C4. Wasnt he in a tank top and red bandana ? I think that pissed me off even more that he looked like some GTA reject killing me in my hollywood level armor.

                    I still have my RB6 vegas....somewhere....
Best reason to have a license.
