budget looks the same as me. I took your advice and got into processors and it was instant money. i threw down 3 fully decked out processor plants...then made mad money, working a whole redevelopment of my lower area, starting to push residential down there. I ended up blowing up my recycling plant, smelting furnace and ore mine. I just import everything and grind out TV's and computers. I also sell the excess processors for extra money.
I'm thinking I just abandon all industrial and have a ton of high tech plants. then zone mostly residential with some commerical.

I think my problem is that I have is that I think I need to do a little of everything, then I run out of room and spend a boat load of money while not making much.
I already erased one city and started over. I had to do it again.

Who ever takes over the vacant city next to mine gets a fat $500k bonus.

Might be me
One city I can't build anything, just stays @ 0% then in my other city I have nuclear radiation over half the city and garbage trucks won't collect garbage
