Anyone Playing this? I'll be picking this up soon, just can't decide whether to get it for 360 or PC and was wondering what everyone is playing it on.

I'd get it if we had enough for a squad. From what I've read, the matchmaking is currently broken on PS3, and if it's like the first one, playing with AI partners will suck unless you want to stick to the easiest difficulties.Comment

Never played the first one. Was it any good? Leaning toward getting it for PC, just hoping I can find a good team to play it with.Comment

I liked the first one overall. It was only a handful of levels, but there was a bit randomness that kept it fresh for a bit longer. However, there wasn't enough to keep it from getting stale after a while, and the difficulty got ridiculous pretty quickly once you bumped it up from easy.Comment

Loving this game so far. A lot more to it than the first game. The VSN Arcade Podcast got a couple of review copies, so Dizzle and myself started checking it out tonight. Weapon mods, character upgrades, all that stuff makes it feel like a completely different game. I also haven't come across a heist that I haven't enjoyed so far, either. In the first game there were a couple I loved, and a couple that I just didn't like at all. Tonight we played four of the lower level heists and they were all pretty well done and quite different from each other. Seems like there are quite a few heists and a wide range of difficulty/length to them as well. I think we're going to bust into some of the bigger heists tomorrow night.
On another note: Does anyone have this for PS3? Myself and Jay would be more than willing to invite another or two to play with us tomorrow night.Comment

We need at least a 3rd.
Last night was cool enough but Swarley and I were busting up the easiest heists because our A.I. crew sucks.
Just standing there while the SWAT team just waltzed in or worse, came through the skylight and almost snuffed out a decent job instantly.
Other than that, it was fun to plot out and plan with Swarley to steal bank notes and jewels... only for it to go completely to shit and end up with a lot of blood on our hands.
Turns out that even if you see no cameras and no alarms, SOMEBODY's gonna freak out on you and prematurely start the heist.Comment

Then again, seeing a guy in Sear's suit, purple latex gloves and a big red lunchbox with a white cross on it would creep me out too.
Also, when we hit that small bank (the singular building with the 4 cameras inside and one on the roof), I was SO PISSED that I couldn't find the security room that I got the key card from.
If I just went to the office instead of nabbing the manager, I think it would have went smoother.Comment

My buddies and I did the tiara mission last night without the cops getting called, no clue how we managed that haha.Comment

GG tonight with Pad and Twigg on Payday 2.
For a game that wants you to act professionally, even stealthfully... there sure is a LOT of opportunities for the game to screw you and unleash hordes of cops on you.
Can't get points for a bodycount. :/
Still, fun times and I look forward to some more again real soon.Comment
