For companies constantly bitching about how costly retail games are with boxing materials alone that seems like a collosal waste of time and money.

As gay as it sounds, I'd buy the box one just to have the case lol I bought Ratchet and Clank collection for 7.50 during the PSN sale but if I ever found the disc copy for $10 or lower I'd rebuy it. Just the guy I am.

I will say the box art is pretty good. I still wont buy the box, though.

                        Giant Bomb QL:

Jeff, Vinny, and Brad rewrite history with an HD-ified version of the NES classic.

I am sorry but this game seemed appropriate to play when I was 10 years old. I am not sure this could hold my attention in my old age.

I was super jazzed when it was first released because of how much of a nostalgic hold the original has over me (it blew my mind as a kid for how crazy it was in terms of you could miss a entire tail end of the game if you didn't find the correct secrets -- discovering that on my own before the internet was very rewarding), but the more I see about it now, the more I just figure I can play the original. The voice acting doesn't interest me (especially since most of the cast has one foot in the grave, and sounds like it), and I can beat the original in like 3 hours. I don't want to sound all Twigg-like, but $15 for 3 hours and "upgrades/updates" that I don't really care for isn't exactly a winning value proposition.

At this point in my life I have to pick what games I want to play. Price is rarely a motivation to buy a game. If this game was free I am not sure I would play it at home.

If I could get it on the Vita...I might bite to kill time on the bus.

Wow, no Vita release? That seems a little crazy.
