NCAA Football 14

I had an awesome game today.

Oregon State (me) 34 Oregon 44

They went up 20-0 early in the 2nd quarter, so I decided to go no-huddle ... Oregon's D absolutely shut me down in the first quarter, so I decided to switch things up.

Got as close as 26-24, but I ran into INT issues late in the game (totally my fault, trying to press too much), but it was a hell of a game.

Played one game online (random), went up 10-0 early in the 2nd quarter ... poof! disconnect.

Still kinda on the fence with this one, because NCAA is usually just an expensive rental until Madden comes out for me ... but I will say there are many improvements to this game, and I haven't even touched sliders (All-American default, so far).

based on the comments i am seeing, i think this is a typical EA football release. im sure a patch will come quick to fix most of the bugs they already knew about...probably next week or so....then another month will go by before we see patch 2 which address the bugs the 1st patch created or didnt fix. by then, madden will be out and people will be waiting for that games patch.

when oh when will people wake up and stop spending money on such a piss poor game?

oh, btw....when is it ok to call out the dbags who said NCAA 14 was the goat based on the demo?

Honestly I'm glad that I have the season pass because I am okay with playing most of EA Sports games for two or three days

I like the season pass. I used to go nuts the weekend before a release, now I can just download it and not drive 2 hours to Toronto in hopes of finding it early. Go ahead and laugh ... many of you knuckleheads have done the same.

NCAA 06 is still the best game. Glad I have season ticket. Will not be purchasing 2014.

I'm liking the game so far. Plays super smooth online (ps3). Probably the smoothest ever. Lots of user control. I'm strictly an online player vs. my friends, so the dynasty stuff and vs. cpu stuff I never get into.

I want to know which is your favorite NCAA game, we are posting in the NCAA Football thread! You find it hard to believe that many posters, including myself, think NCAA 14 is better than the past piles of shit EA has released. What is the best NCAA game for the 360/PS3? Simple question.

The demo gave me glimpses that this is better than past NCAA games. The retail game confirmed this. You note "bug riddled" like this is a new thing for NCAA games LOL

I just had a good game, Michigan (Me) vs Notre Dame. I ended up losing 27-25 but it was a well played game. I suppose this game isn't bad. Once I'm focused on the game, I don't really notice what I don't like about it.
Still, I wouldn't drop $60 on it but if it ever came down to $35-40, I'd consider picking it up , probably won't though. I guess what I'm saying is that it was fun while it was free.


I guess I just don't have the passion for football games that I used to when I played the crap out of Madden '05-'06 on PC.
