Been on the hunt for a Cheap but decent Gaming headset for the PC. My SteelSeries 7xb is wireless and the mic doesnt work with PC, 360 only. The Steel Series eats batteries as well...very annoying. So I picked up these at BB today for $80. I keep hearing good things.

So far sound is very nice...they have 3 settings from a loud treble setting to middle to bassy. I am liking them so far. I dont love the white but who gives a shit...nobody sees it.

Steel Series is going to ebay.

Since Tom Clancy passed away today, I went and made some purchases in his honor (and b/c Vintage Stock had a B1G1 sale lol):

My pickups from the past couple weeks:

Found the Gamecube (which is in surprisingly good condition) at a garage sale down the street for $25, so I couldn't pass that up. They didn't have any games that I wanted, so I picked up REmake and Star Wars Rogue Squadron II from the vintage store here in town. Picked up a brand new PS2 controller b/c the one that I have is kind of crappy. While I was at the vintage store, I ran across these two Indiana Jones game for the PS2. I don't know anything about them, but I love me some Indy, so I'm going to play them no matter how crappy they end up being. In fact, I'll probably start one of the Indy games today.

Nice! If you ever end up getting into RPGs, the Paper Mario Thousand Year Door game is fucking awesome. Also, if you like the old RE games (fixed camera, tank controls), Eternal Darkness is the shit as long as the insanity of it hasn't been spoiled for you.

Me personally, I'm sitting here trying to decide if I want to drop $25 for The Wolf Among Us. My heart is saying yes, but my heart tends to have little regard for my wallet. And our stupid toilet won't stop running.

Paper Mario is definitely on my short list for Gamecube games. I don't know much about the system since I never had one and none of my friends did, so I've been going through some lists trying to find some games I'd be interested in. I'll have to look into Eternal Darkness. Paper Mario will probably be my next purchase for it right after Wind Waker.

Don't dig TOO deep in Eternal Darkness...part of its charm is its surprises, and a lot of that shit is spoiled by the interwebs. Wind Waker is my 2nd favorite Zelda game and looks gorgeous still (I can't imagine how good the HD version looks).

I never had a GC, just played GC games on my Wii. Seems like a good system but that controller is fucking crazypants and might be my least favorite at this point in my life behind the original PSX controller.

Wind Waker is definitely not cheap like a lot of last-gen games are. Haven't had much luck finding one with a good case for under $40. Buuuut I REALLY want to play it so I'll probably pull the trigger anyways in the next couple of weeks.

Since I sold my 360 and my entire game collection for it, I felt the urge to replace a few of my favorite 3rd party titles to have for my PS3. Was browsing around Best Buy today and I decided to pick this up with a couple reward zone certificates:
