I read something the other day, I believe it was from that guy Slacza that made games like Scribblenauts, that said that the WiiU was "much more powerful" than the PS3 or 360. I just couldn't help but wonder what he was smoking?

I thought the Wii U was supposed to be like 4 times or something like that more powerful than the PS3 and Xbox?

Pretty sure Nintendo paid developers to say that during the pre-launch "hype" for the Wii-U . I know it has like double the amount of RAM as the 360/PS3 and a little better GPU.

One of the podcasts I listen to a few of the guys own a WiiU and they are always defending it. I found it humorous though that they recently mentioned the latest firmware update and how they haven't noticed ANY differences in performance. One of the major drawbacks of the WiiU are the horrendous download times. You think the old PS3s are bad? They don't have shit on the WiiU. The one guy said it took two DAYS to download LEGO City. Anyway, Nintendo has been promising since the Winter that they would release a major update that would significantly diminish download times and fix a bunch of other issues. Well, it looks like they were full of shit.
