My early thoughts after about 5 hours of play:
Pros

• Fast paced and intense. Simply put, its tons of fun. I put in a solid three hours without even realizing it tonight.
• Seems like the perfect mix of Halo and Call of Duty. Titanfall will supplant Call of Duty in the fast paced FPS genre
• Even if you suck, you kinda feel like you're doing well because of all the cannon fodder on the map.
• Short matches mean that you can easily pop in a game or two if you're waiting for something or before you have to run off and do some errands.

Cons

• Staying power? This feels like a game that would be awesome for 20 or 30 hours, and then it would just get repetitive.
• Smart pistol seems really cheap. Some tweaking needs to be done.
• Titan nuclear explosion: I have to admit, I've been using this frequently, but I think it might be the cheapest thing in the game right now. Basically all you gotta do is run towards a couple enemy Titans in your own Titan, and hope you blow up. If you blow up when near them, 9 times out of 10 they can't get away and you take out both of their Titans and the pilots.

All in all, I'm still on the fence about this. It's loads of fun, but I'm just worried I'd get bored of it pretty quickly.

Also, I found it pretty funny when Knubb got thrown in the room I was in. What a coincidence.

Playing this game 20-30 hours alone would get boring quickly. As long as you're playing with friends and VSNers, the fun factor should last quite a while. I hope Respawn has some good DLC, that would help as well.

Xbox One Titanfall Beta opening up to everyone

Titanfall Beta
Later today, the teams will be opening up the Titanfall Beta to all Xbox One owners. That means no code will be necessary to download and play the beta. We are really excited to get a good test on all of our systems before launch and encourage you to join in.

To download the beta, sign in to your Xbox One and head to the “New Game Demos” section of the Game Store and it will appear there. You can also say “Xbox Bing” then “Show me game demos”. Also, in some Xbox Live regions you’ll see a “Join The Titanfall Beta” link on the home page of Xbox One, next to My Game and Apps.

Note: It may take some time until all Xbox One’s can see the demo in the store. Some members may see it before others. Until then just relax and rest assured everyone will see it soon.

Finally played Titanfall...

Finally played Titanfall, its getting getting a Titan the first few times but... after the second or third match it loses its luster. Gun on Gun in this game blows ass. And the bots are god awful worst than the combot training bots in BLOPS. But they have something here I'd love to see this game done on the Frostbite engine. Its impossible to have a "bad game" with these bots I guess that's what they were shooting for.
