Aren't all of you guys hardcore CoD players though? Because I think we all know how I feel about that game and it just looks like CoD with mechs to me. Meh.

I hope it's not and it's awesome because this industry desperately needs fresh IPs. The wall running is the only thing about this game that looks fresh to me.

I think it looks interesting. By no means am I head over heels excited for it, but I'm interested to see more about it. Whenever the day comes that I finally cave and get the XB1 I'm sure I'll pick this up. To me the part about it being exclusive that sucks is that it seems to be creating enough hype and steam that I think it could have given CoD a real run for its money sales wise. And I would like nothing more than to see a game top CoD in sales.

Put me firmly in the "looks like Tribes" camp...and I really liked Tribes. And I really liked CoD4. So, fingers crossed. I definitely looks cool.

Yes and no...the Mech part would be the major twist. But it was very much aerial and had HUGE maps for the time. And then, of course, the sci-fi aesthetic.

I get that you aren't excited for this, but I think that the phrase "CoD with Mechs" sounds ridiculous. I see what your point is, but doesn't the giant mechanical robot part kind of throw the COD part on it's head?

Look at all the combat outside of the mechs. It looks just like CoD. Especially in the multiplayer videos, the scores that pop up look identical to CoD.

I havent put muchtime in a COD game since MW2. Every game after that is completely meh.

Okay? These are the guys that came up with that stuff, so I'd be shocked if they didn't use it at all. I am not sure what more you want in terms of something new? They are adding giant robots to the mix. I think that that might change things in general, even if outside of the mechs looks "just like a CoD game".

The shooting mechanics and other things aren't bad, plus the real Infinity Ward (aka Respawn) put out some pretty decent games. As long as I'm not getting killed by the computer during the MP, I'll give it a shot.

Use blind eye as one of your perks. You wont be killed by the computer in MP.

Lol, no. The complete lack of innovation is still one of the most laughable things about that franchise. I'm not giving them my money to try a new perk. Plus, the fact that AI killstreaks are even in the game is getting ridiculous. In MP, everything should be user controlled.

I'm not trying to sway you into playing, so don't take it that way. That perk has been in the game for years though.

Also pertaining to mass killstreaks, the last few games have had a mode called barebones where you only get the 3 killstreaks like you did in CoD4.
