I refuse to believe that was Live.

That 2k trailer is stunning, still waiting on 5v5 gameplay though.

Let's take a moment to remember that this game came out on a console from this current generation.

2k held a press event for the Next Gen version. Here are the first features released.

At a press event held earlier today 2K Sports finally revealed details on what to expect from the next-gen version of NBA 2K14. There is only a little over three weeks until it arrives for the PS4 and under a month away from Xbox One. The biggest news is 2K14 will not be a current-gen

I still remember when I finally ditched NBA Live and bought 2k6. My boys made fun of me for a while for switching games until they came out and seen playing it. They were hooked and picked up the game the following day, lol. Also playing the first 2k that came with Xbox 360 (forget what year), I was blown away, we stayed up all night playing that shit. This year is going to be the same, can't wait!

It was 2k6, which is the video I posted. I remember playing it on Christmas day and having my grandma come in thinking it was a real live NBA game, lol. Now you watch that video and the game looks like shit.

yeah the video is shit...even in "HD" Looks like the frame rate is under 30 FPS which it is not. Turrible video. Both systems are 60fps and 1080

it's off of youtube..not sure about the site's video (which I don't think is 60fps). YT rarely does true 1080p from what I read. I think it's just saying how some might not find the leap they are expecting, except in graphics.....an opinion of the guy, of course. I think if you are getting a PS4 and a sports fan, this is a no brainer but not sure someone should just buy one to get next gen 2K14. I'm going to get The Show '14 on PS3, unless they have new features only on next gen.

Youtube caps framerates at 30 so that also attributes to the shit quality. Video was also taken directly from gamespot whose player wnt only as high as 720p. So what we have here is a 720p 30fps quick look of a next gen game.

I know what you are saying but I don't think someone goes to YT to see quality of a game that YT is unable to replicate. It's the msg behind the video, which many will not agree with. YT will never (any time soon) be able to show the quality of next gen games, yet everyone posts next gen consoles videos there (incl. EA & 2K) because of the large viewership.

I see most of my videos on gameryde. He posts uncompressed direct feed videos so they show up exactly how they would if it were natively running on your screen
