Anyone use Amibos? I thought you would be able to play as that character just with higher stats but no.. its just a above average sparring partner.. whats the point in these things? 12$ for some DLC? no thanks.

Yeah I figured that out, too. It does help unlock some stuff, but I'm also disappointed you can't use custom characters online, at least their moves.

The amiibos seem completely pointless except as a collectible. Typical Nintendo jumping on a fad or feature but only doing it half assed.

It's the weirdest fucking thing, particularly that you basically train the character and that's it. But I guess they were going for the weirdo community and it seems like in that respect, it's been a success. Color me confused though.

As for this game, it's quite good, but I just never got into playing online. A lot of fun if you have friends to play locally, but just doesn't grab me otherwise.
