Please do not speed rush through every pitch....i dont mind playing a faster pace, but i hate when people push the buttons quickly in between pitches.

I use the Indians and I play with a rotation, which means you will see my 3, 4, and 5 SP. I prefer to play on the road if possible because i like to see the other parks.

I am usually on between 9pm and 1am Eastern time.

its funny cause i have only played a few online games since starting up online and EVERY team i played was the rays and everyone choose Garza.....lol

i know your a fan so i expect you to use them, but the other guys i played were randoms so who knows, but oddly they choose garza too.

but yeah lets try and play tonight if you have time and if the server is up

Fun game Maynard! As always, I get a ton of hits, but can't push many across the plate, and always manage to give up an unearned run on a throwing error to make this shit interesting! lol WTF, this game hates me I swear.

Rematch again soon. Sorry I couldnt leave you any feedback, I got booted from the server after the game ended.

Rays 3 - Tribe 2
Price vs Pavano

This was a very exciting and entertaining game. I took a 1-0 lead. Martinez hit a routine grounder to SS and the high throw went in the dugout allowing Martinez to goto 2nd. A wild pitch and Sac Fly game me the 1-0 lead.

Top of the next inning the Rays come back to score 3. The lead off walk killed me. It was followed by single after single. Grounders down the 1st and 3rd basline showed me teams weak defense,

I was making some really weird mistakes. A grounder hit to Garko at 1st where he should have taken maybe 3-4 steps to the bag for a easy out, instead he stood there waiting for the pitcher to get to the bag and he wouldnt move towards first. When the ball was hit, as i was fielding i preloaded the throw to 1st which caused him to try and throw to the pitcher covering the bag. I thought i could over ride the preload by moving the stick towards first, but it didnt happen. During the next AB i could tell you were giving me the out. Thanks!

When i got my 2nd run i made serious running blunders. I had 2 guys on 2nd base. It was totally my fault as i got confused with my buttons, I was lucky the throw to 3rd was late.

Anyway, great game. I thought Delucci's fly ball was gonna be gone too....

Yeah, I've been using the swing influence thing. Not sure if it's really doing anything for me though. I just haven't been hitting with any power the last few games. I'm sure it will turn around eventually.

I just wish my guys would stop throwing the ball away in the field, unearned runs are killing me! I hope Price makes the opening day roster too, I'd hate to lose him in a roster update. He's filthy....at least through the 6th inning, then he can't hit the strike zone. lol

You outplayed him and he's arguably one of the best if not the best player in the league. Once you get better at driving in runs you'll change shit around real fast.

You do know that pre pitch if you hit up on the left analog stick it'll force a fly ball, and down does a grounder. Just thought I'd drop that info incase you weren't aware.

I hope you mean right analog stick...otherwise you've been doing it wrong the whole time..lol

And it doesn't "force" it "influences". So you're not going to automatically hit a fly ball because you hit up on the right stick.

LOL, I didn't catch that he wrote left stick. I do use the right stick for swing influence. I use the left stick to chase after pitches in the dirt or over my head! :club:

houtz, i just sent u a pm.

i notice online that the timing window seems real small when moving the LS. I will move the stick a hair to the right then back to the left and my batter will look all funky when swinging. Its like he jerks right b4 swinging left if that makes sense. Bucsfan i dont know if you remember seeing any of this in our games.

hitting is real tough online. i dont think its lag but just the lack of check swing ability online. there are so many times that i chase a ball when i barely tap the X button. These would normally be check swings offline.
