    NCAA 14 XBOX 360 Generic Editor (Hex)

    Over at OS they have put together another Hex Editor for the 360 version. Here is where I will post all the findings that come from it. It's quite amazing.

    I talk about it a lot in the chatbox and everyone always ask what it is. So here is some notes on it.

    Basic Stuff

    - You can edit rosters on the computer. Mass edit. If you want every single player to lose 10 points to awareness then all it takes is 5 seconds.

    - You can change teams OVR ratings. The players on the teams affect the OVR ratings per team but you can make them how ever you want.

    - Duplicate #'s, you can do "Smith-Jones" type names

    1) Time Management- when I used to do team edits across the board for every player on the console, it would take me 30-40 per TEAM. With the editor it takes 3-5 minutes. You do the math.

    2) There are hidden ratings that you can edit for players that don't show up on the console because EA took them out. But they still have an affect on gameplay.

    3) Full customization of your game. If you want to control all 120 teams-check...stabilize Coaching Carousel-check...modify the BCS rankings week in and week out-check...modify the All-Americans-check.




    Some Notes:

    (In the Profile save)
    You will fall in love with the Passing game because of these two fields:

    OPLS (UOPT tab) and PSLS (UNIF tab)
    -Both deal with the Pass Lead Sensitivity
    -set at 127 it is crazy with all Animations that start to play out that we don't see because the default is at 50.

    OGPS = Game/Ball Passing Speed
    -Controls how fast the QB's get rid of the ball
    -Controls radius of "Sack Animation" triggering
    -Controls how fast the ball will travel with in the Throw Strength ratings scale
    -Controls how much "Arc" is applied to throws (high = less, low = more)
    (I set at 127 to test and QB's are flinging like B. Farve while releasing like D. Morino)

    These two affect the Def side of the ball during Pass Plays because they impact what Def Animations will be triggered.

    GOPT Tab
    OARA = AI Running Ability (different from slider)
    - set at 127 = "Beast"
    - they "WILL" use there ratings (stiff arm, trucking, elusiveness etc...)
    Some notes...
    -use the max (127) on certain fields
    -IBL (Impact Block is crazy with it maxed, players getting decleated on crack-backs and ST)
    - I maxed out Vision/Carry for all RB's/QB's (I see a difference, let me know what you see)
    -maxed Hit Power (127) of S's, have seen some nasty non-WWE type collisions
    -I've lowered Speed across the board by 25 and have use Acceleration scale of 50-127
    -only apply 127 to some WR to make them explosive, most players fall below 75 with the slower Speed scale.

    -maxed option teams QB and RB's Acceleration to 127 and misdirections ect.. are nasty now because the option attack happens with quickness as it should (the fastest guy Speed wise is like 60, but man they hit it quick now)
    -Option QB' with Vision at 127 takes the option game to a new level (this + the 127 Accleration) Army is gashing me with 2-5 pops, then a huge gain on a misdirection or playaction pass.

    I really like what 127 does to the game

            i have used the editor for 10,11,12 and messing with the rating and trying to figure out the headers is almost as much fun as playing the game anymore(yes im olderly)

              After some trial and error I've gotten every tab located and written down by number.

              Edited a full team name and ratings and it took me 20 mins compared to the 2 hours it used to take. Once you remember where each tab is it's simple as ever.

              Going to dive into the sliders tomorrow and mess with them.


              This weekend I want to try and get an OD going just to see if we can use the editor on it.

                You can not use a CAS in dynasty with the editor...it breaks things...puts a big damper in what I was going to do with my dynasty

                Just read that you can not do an OD with the editor so that's out of the question

                Once you use a hex rosters or file on the computer you can't touch in game or it will move everything back to EA original ratings / equipment

                  For the OF's, some may use 0 or 1, but there are others that have a rating listed by default.
                  ie OFFA (FG Acc) at 50 by default while OA/OH at 50/75 (M13 file).
                  So some actually give the ability to adjust 0-99.
                  OAAW is pass coverage slider

                  OAFA & OHFA is FG accuracy

                  OPFS is false start penalty

                  OPDP is defensive pass interference

                  OPOP is offensive pass interference

                  OPHO is holding

                  OPRP is roughing the passer

                  OPRK is roughing the kicker

                  OPCL is clipping

                  OPIG is intentional grounding

                  OPOS is offsides

                  OPPI is KR/PR interference

                    Could you clarify this:


                    Can I:

                    1) Edit a hex roster

                    2) Load it onto my console

                    3) Create an online dynasty with said roster

                    4) Edit equipment/names once the OD is created and active?



                    I'm trying to figure out if you can never, ever edit the roster settings... or if you just can't edit them in the team management page before loading the dynasty.

                      figured out just a bit ago
                      dynasty editor under team-roster helmet= picture of helmet at coin flip(changed air force to oklahoma's, at coin flip air force had ou's helmet) only place i have seen it so far.
