It's a newer Mac book air. I have to wait till I get home from work to look up the specs. I was more directing my question at Crusader Kings 2 though because I've read online the Mac version has been known to crash if you don't meet the recommended specs.

Definitely picking up about 4-5 games when I get home including:

Civ 5
Crusader Kings 2
Hearts of Iron 3
Europa Universalis 3
Victoria 2

Second this. I paid 20 bucks for way back when I got more than my money worth out of it. TL2 didn't quite grab me the same way, but it's also great.

I'm also understanding Civ V more now that I completed a couple of tutorials. I have a few more to do but by the end, I should have a grasp of the gameplay.

I have done a number of ck2 saves. And i get rolled every time. Still I back for more.

I had one game where I was playing as the lowest level person in France. Because I had good family lines, I married some kids in to the French court. Then I got bored and wanted to expand. My army of farmers wasn't ping to cut it, so I brought in some Mercs. They did well, but I ran out of money. They then turned on me and took over my small county

I was doing great in Ireland. I had taken about 4 provinces around me. My character was getting old, but I thought he had a few years left in him. Well, he died, no biggie, I have an heir. The next week, my heir goes into an inn and the entire place fucking explodes. His only heir was a 2 year old girl. I took vengeance on everyone and she is the first Queen of Ireland. It is a fun, damn game.

Started off as King Garcia in Spain and am instantly regretting my decision to start there as a beginner. Within a couple months I had one of my vassals revolting against me, took about a year but I finally captured and imprisoned him only to release him a week later to show how "merciful" I am. Gonna pick it up from there when I get home tonight and hopefully start expanding to land around me. I can definitely see myself getting lost in the world for hours upon hours. The depth that this game has is just astonishing. The only problem I have is the game is constantly hanging for me but it may be because my graphics card is a tad under par for this game.

Also had some fun playing Europa 3. Took a while to get through all of the tutorials but I'm gonna give it a go through tonight as well. I like the colonization and full world aspect of it so can't wait to get this started. Haven't decided who I'm gonna be yet.
