I want to know more about the modes and gameplay for this game, only because the community has a huge catalog of created wrestlers to DL. I need to go online and DL a number of them and start playing again.

I havent played a wrestling game since I think n64 how are they now?
Since they switched the grapple system from the N64 days to a more strike/reversal/finisher base (think Dead or Alive in some cases) with some contextual stuff put in (Cage Matches, Ladders, using weapons and the environment...), THQ couldn't get it quite right.
It cost them and now 2K's here to pick up the pieces hopefully.
Before this year, the move system was moving towards a more contextual grapple/combo system where if you did well enough (and the other guy/CPU wasn't mashing the reversal button), you could chain-grapple with certain guys into monster combos.
You could end certain match-ups VERY quickly if you had the right guy (Cena for one).
Aside from graphics, I'm hoping that the way 2K is adding to the illustrious history of fucking with the move system again won't tarnish what's left of this series' reboot.
