Yeah wtf that shit looked hideous.

    My problems with wrestling games.

Like the above everyone looks like wax and moves like robots.
Guys like Giant Khali , Andre the Giant , King Kong Bundy etc...were easily body slammed by guys like rey misterio and sean michaels.
The weird indecision between button mashing and grappling. Games seemed to favor one or the other to the extreme depending on version
Momentum. This always annoyed me. It seemed like once someone started going the momentum was unstoppable and you were at there mercy for every move. Pretty much every wrestling game I played always results in me leaving the ring hoping to cheap shot a guy to the floor and get a count out....ive been doing that since 1987 btw

Best reason to have a license.

But No Mercy's the greatest American cart grappler on the market.

WWF Wrestlemania 2000 did however let you pick finishers as Strong Grapple moves so if you dig cheese with you moveset, that was the best.

Scorpion Deathdrop, Sharpshooter, Crippler Crossface AND the Jacknife Powerbomb?! Craziness.

I won a LOT of tag matches against the CPU with countouts.

That and before I went for my finisher, I'd run the ropes and knock the other guy off the apron.

Cheap, but you gotta do what you gotta do for the belt(s).

          NEW NAVIGATION SYSTEM

The entire navigation system has been overhauled and reanimated including all walking, running, and dragging motions to give the game a more fluid and life-like feel and look.
Overall Superstar movement has been accelerated, meaning the action is faster-paced and more like what you see on WWE television.
There is now a "starting up" animation for when Superstars begin running. This leads to a more natural-looking match, where it is more difficult to "spam" running attacks.
Animation gestures have been added such as adjusting wrist bands, motioning for your opponent to get up, and many more to give a human-like appearance to the navigation system.

          STRIKING CHANGES

Strikes and strike combos are now quicker and snappier, making them faster and harder to reverse.
Successfully landing a strike combo now puts your opponent in a groggy state, making groggy grapples appear earlier and more frequently.

          REVERSAL SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS

Reversing a grapple move now causes the reverser to do a move of his/her own automatically.
This cuts down on the endless back-and-forth "reversal fest" some users complained of in WWE '13 while also making the match move faster.

          CATAPULT FINISHERS

Catching Finishers can now be executed offensively, by Irish Whipping your opponent to the ropes with a finisher stored or catapulting your opponent up when they run towards you.
Select finisher moves give you the ability to launch an opponent into the air and then hit them with a Catch Finisher on the way back down.

          NEW OMG MOMENTS

New multi-man OMG Moments added to help you gain the upper-hand in multi-man matches. One OMG move can take out two opponents in one shot making it easier to get the win against multiple opponents.
          Double Attitude Adjustment
          Double Shellshock
          Double Chokeslam
New OMG Moments added to allow you to dole out even more damage using the ring environment.
          Boot-to-head on outside ringpost
          DDT on the apron

          TWO-COUNTS

One of the most reviled bugs in WWE '13 was the dearth of two-counts. This issue has been addressed, bringing back the dramatic near falls you know and love.

The complete roster for WWE 2K14's 30 Years of WrestleMania mode was announced earlier today by legendary WWE commentators Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler, during an appropriately dramatic and (Ric) flair-filled press event held at this weekend's WWE SummerSlam AXXESS event in Los Angeles.

The roster, listed in its entirety after the break, is made up of 33 wrestlers, 10 of which have "Retro" variants, bringing the entire cast of characters up to 43 unbelievably giant, sweaty men. Highlights of the list include relatively recent personalities such as The Rock, CM Punk and John Cena, as well as classic competitors such as Bret "The Hitman" Hart, Mick Foley, Ric Flair and Goldberg.

It's worth noting that these wrestlers have been announced specifically for the 30 Years of WrestleMania mode, and that 2K Sports has yet to divulge which will also be available for use in the game's other modes.

Nice lineup with all the throw backs. Would be cool if they got Legion of Doom, Steiner Bros, Dusty Roads, Rick Rude and a few other legendary wrestlers.

I just want the games to be like the old days where you picked anyone on the roster and fought for the championship. The 1st smackdown was the best. Season mode never ended.

They're on goddamn drugs if you can't use the Wrestlemania roster with the current/unlockables cast in the game.

                  No HBK vs. CM Punk?

                  NO BUYS.

If the gameplay improvements make online playable then this will be a must buy for me.
