So I'm running some hot laps at Lime Rock in the Caddy since that's where the Global Challenge goes to on Tuesday. Dear lord, a multiclass race there is going to be terrifying.

I think it would be less stressful to be in the Kia there and be in the slower class. But of course, I'll be all about the Caddy in that series.

What a fucking nightmare of a race this is. Doing Mustang Cup at Watkins Glen. 3 cars crash going into the bus stop on lap 1. I swerve way down low but can't avoid it. Go a lap down while getting repairs. Then I'm back out and I'm right behind the guy who had crashed and I hit trying to avoid. Coming out of the bus stop he spins his tires and gets loose, so trying to avoid him I get loose and come down and smack the inside wall. Had to get ANOTHER tow. Now I'm just sitting in my pit box as 2 minutes of repairs gets done.

So here I am, minding my own business in P9 (out of 10) on the first lap. A bunch of people get completely idiotic going into the bus stop, which isn't that tough if you've EVER run a practice lap. After it settles down I come through. You'd think the one guy would immediately hit the brakes to stay out of the racing line until me and P10 are through. But no, he just crawls down the track right into the racing line leaving me nowhere to go.

That sucks, I hate when people coast across the track. If they would just stop, it would be so much easier so you don't have to predict what they're going to do.

I don't think I have ever been on that track, I'm not familiar with it at all.

It's a fantastic track. One of my favorites I've ever driven on.

Oh, and funny thing. Since I spent so much time in the pits and ended up 3 laps down, I managed to still up my SR to 2.52 lol.

I didn't save that one, just used the NVIDIA recording while watching the replay while I was still in the session. I'll probably run some practice laps tonight or tomorrow and I'll save that.

I did practice the Jefferson course for a few minutes earlier. I only see trouble happening on that track.

I've run the big course at Summit Point, but I haven't tried the separate Jefferson layout. Main circuit is pretty good.

Saw some people were in the driver's briefing for the 1:15am CT Mustang Challenge race, so I decided to join. ANOTHER guy blew his motor on the formation lap. LOL. That's the second I've seen do that today and I don't know how these turds keep doing that.

Anyways, I finished P4, but there were only 6 cars so it didn't officially count for points. Raised my SR to 2.58 and I lowered my best lap at WGI by like 2.5 seconds and wasn't too far off the top pace from both my races. Still need to get a good, long practice session in b/c I'm still babying it around some corners and I'm still running the base setup.

Ran another Mustang Challenge race at Watkins Glen before they switch over to the new week tonight.

Ran a really clean race and had 0 incidents, but I'm still pretty off the pace due still not having really practiced with this car. I just don't feel comfortable pushing it yet. Started P9 and finished P9. SR went up to 2.81, but my iRating took a small hit b/c for some reason I was ranked #7 in the lobby.

Both the Global Challenge and Mustang Challenge switch over to Lime Rock Park tonight, so I'll probably get some practice sessions in with both series.
