Feel like I was the only one who gave a shit enough to play it. Should have kept it cause I was in the game, my 15 minutes of fame.
Camera angle killed it for me. I tried an outside run and ended up running like 10 yards backwards. Couldn't pass worth shit. They should have at least multiple camera options. Forcing me into that awful camera angle automatically killed the game for me.
Cousin got me addicted to this game when I was a kid. It came out around the time that the Sierra games were blowing up. This one was somewhat forgotten in all that but it was a very good game.
Solid premise, but this game is certainly not X-Wing or TIE Fighter. It also was extremely repetitive for the standard missions to move the story along to different parts. Though with flight games, you can't be picky right now.
This game kind of like Freelancer? I remember when it came out, I just don't remember playing it much if at all.
I rented this at least four times from Blockbuster when I was at my moms for weekends. Looking back (and I may look to try and find it) it was a concept ahead of it's time for a console, and just struggled with the control scheme and graphics. Still, as a 10-12 year old, I thought it was great even though that's the furthest from the truth.
