Madden 25 Demo Impressions

They better do something with these broken tackle, my god. Frank Gore breaks just about every initial tackle on All Madden. You shouldn't be able to truck someone and immediate swipe someone off a second later like it's nothing. C'mon EA.

Randall Cobb's stiff arm is impenetrable

Anytime someone comes in from the side, easy broken tackle and he doesn't even slow down. Typical for a demo IIRC.

NCAA 14 plays exactly the same way. There is no defense and/or it just doesn't work properly.

when are game changers going to learn they are just testers/tax right offs with a fancy name ? its a toy company and apparently the general public doesn't like defense or this is EA'S Video game version of the NFL new rules. People want to think that no defense in NCAA 14 is normal because "hey, offense is explosive in college " but the fact is if you like defense the plays and players have been rendered dumb and useless and third or 4th and long isn't really difficult either.

The "Game Changers" are simply fluffers who don't realize they're fluffers.

I game tested Madden in Orlando and would never get invited back because I told the truth after playing the (retail) game.

Played one game on AM and Marshawn Lynch stiff-armed Clay Matthews almost effortlessly. Neck snapped back and it looked like Matthews was sucked into the ground. So the stiff-arm/broken tackles may be a bit overpowered on AM level.

Surprised more people haven't commented. I downloaded last night but, haven't picked it up to play yet. Not too encouraging after reading this and other impressions. Full build on Season Ticket will determine if this is a buy or, if Madden '12 continues to be the last Madden I bought.

I just looked for it to DL but it doesn't show. When I searched for Madden 25 (on PSN), it only gives the option the pre-order, but no TRY FREE DEMO.

EDIT: Found it online...it actually is in the store but I found it when I looked at Welcome page. Usually they have the game page that lets you buy it/try it, I guess because it's still a pre-order.

I think All-Madden level cheese has everything to do with that happening....I've just sat back and read some of the comments and to be honest some of these issues are preventable with adjustments to sliders. Now I'm not saying sliders is the cure for all problems but just from messing with them in the few games I played they seem to stop some of the issues people have complained about in regards to the demo and of course if you just load up the demo and start playing then you also have to realize EA has never ever made a game out of the BOX that is designed to capture realism instead we get the ARCADE gameplay effect 1st....hence that is why Clay Matthews will continue to get smoked if you don't make any changes.
