They've updated them almost, if not weekly throughout the season for the past two Madden's.

They've updated them almost, if not weekly throughout the season for the past two Madden's.

I think he must be referring to the updates to the online franchise player ratings. Those have been few and far between. Really not a big issue for us since we start in September and the subsequent updates are not needed.

I'd say those are some pretty solid ratings that I agree with. If that awareness is brought up to the 70's-80's he could be in the mid-high 80's in overall. Gonna have some fun this year.

Ahhh touche. Like you said though, we usually just wait for the first update and then begin the franchise.

I use this site and have a speed chart for Madden that coincides with it.

well anyway on the speed chart a 4.56 combine time = 83 speed

It does appear EA nailed his speed perfect. I’m curious if they (EA) are starting to use actual combine numbers for their rookies now because in years past they always assigned a speed rating 5-10 points higher than the actual players speed in order to boost his overall rating.

If this was Madden 08 I’m willing to bet Ansah would have been rated a 88 overall speed. I’m going to check their rookies out this year and see if EA is starting to utilize draftscout as a resource. If that is the case kudos to them for finally taking the next step to get us closer to actual physical player ratings.

I could only imagine with correct or proper ratings and the arcade stuff being assigned how this game might play on the New Systems coming out.

82 is not a bad deep accuracy rating. I think 89 is the highest of any QB right?

To expand on this...I would love to know how AWR effects user controlled QBs.

Also, can anybody's ratings be edited by the commissioner in a online Connected Franchise?

Do runningbacks regress more in their 30's then they did in Madden 13? I seen too many backs be good for too long.

Why has pass/run block footwork been removed? Did it not have any affect before?

Will next-gen use a similar player rating model or are you guys looking at something entirely different?

Why is kick power and accuracy the same thing for both punter and kickers? Those are 2 completely different positions.

How much does the Pre-Season change how a player will be rated, mainly for the rookies?
