So it's out n shit. Having a laugh playing EASHL. Plays better than the past couple years.

Having multiple fights going on at once is lolz.

I'm not going to buy it, but it's been fun playing EASHL.

I didn't even play 13 much at all so I dunno how much the same it is, the skating/checking seems improved. Penalties get called better. Game feels pretty good.

Then again, what happens when everyone isn't 53 OVR anymore?

Seems like a vast majority of my buddies who are fairly hardcore into the game aren't getting it.

I didn't even realize the release is coming this Tuesday. Seems like little to no hype about the game this year.

Oh joy, you added a new fighting engine and way to fight. So for the first week everyone will love it, then get tired of it and go back to actually playing the game. (remember when goalie fights were the exact same thing)

You added off ice stuff to be a pro. Great, now I can score 100+ pts a season, tell every media person to go fuck themselves, and still probably never be traded because I score that much.

Sweet, you added NHL94 back in. WHY THE FUCK IS THIS SUCH A BIG DEAL? Am I the only one who really doesn't think NHL94 was really anything special. It was the next progression of the game, but it wasn't anything I thought really needed an entire mode dedicated to 20 years later.

So basically they are out of big features. Nothing they can do ground breaking to EASHL, Be a Pro is basically the same, and connected careers has hardly been mentioned, and probably got skipped over this year from an upgrade it needed.

Faceoffs are killing me in this game. Not sure what the hell changed from 13, but I am helpless on Faceoffs this year, sometimes going 0-25 vs. the CPU or online opponents. This may be a game killer for me. 14 is a good game, but the Faceoff thing is killing my enthusiasm for the game ... Not to mention the opinion that this game just seems like a. Large patch for NHL 11.

This may be the first year since this game was on the Sega Genesis that I didn't buy it on release day, same for NCAA Football 14. EA really needs to stop doing so little to improve their games.

From what my buddies said its pretty much last years glitch goals with different skating and different fighting. Oh and you gey a mode with blue ice.

There's been some nice little things done for bagm. live the life is pretty cool. But nothing more below the surface. I did get traded for trash talking my team when I got drafted by Florida.
