Another trade idea...

Second season trade idea. Just getting started in my second season as the Bulls. Looking to trade Deng...but not for a while but I am brainstorming ideas for trades down the road. I posted a trade idea for Josh Howard but more I think about it, I might be leaning toward a deal with the Jazz.

Bulls Get:
CJ Miles
Matt Harpring
1st rd pick

Jazz Get:
Luol Deng

Thoughts?

Yeah I posted my Josh Howard one over there but wasn't geting any replies on it. This part of the forum seems more active.

I can't decide though between and 1st and 2nd rounder. Right now the Jazz look like a pretty decent team. It might come down to when I pull the trigger on this I look where I think the Jazz pick will be based on their record and if it's anything #20 or better I would make it a second round pick. I have a feeling my Bulls will be in the lottery again but I don't want two lottery picks/or to feel like I screwed the CPU.

Actually the more I think about it I might make it a 2nd rounder just because they will have to take on the remainder of Deng's salary.

Then again I'm giving up a starter and a pretty good player for a bench guy and a starter that plays 18mpg. So maybe I'll keep it as a first. Who knows. In either case I'm glad this seemed pretty fair overall at first glance.

This is actually a very good trade as far as realism goes, I would do it for either side.
