I still cant even start the tutorial race.

My character looks so much like Jack Marsten though.

My first attempt with my first character didn't work. When the cloud servers were down it told me to create temporary character that won't be saved. I was then able to get online to work. My first character got lost, but the temporary saved, and I haven't had any issues since.

I tried to play online today, no luck, but I'm only 28% into the offline game, so no big deal. Enjoying the offline game so much. This is my favourite non-sports videogame of all time. Hell, I haven't purchased NHL14, NBA2k14 or Fifa 14 ... something that never happened until this year. And I don't care if I do. Frankly, I'm wondering if I missed the boat on Skyrim.

Played on the 360 side with some friends for most of the evening. Quite a bit of fun, should be fantastic once server issues get ironed out.

yea I got on (360) after about 20 times freezing up on the lobby screen for the initial race with Lamar. Once I was dropped into a game with other players I instantly get shot in the face. good times. In between getting clothes, ammo and visiting LS Costumes I kept getting 1 or 2 stars for no reason, I don't know if its a glitch or what. Spent the rest of the time jacking stores and driving around until I got disconnected. It can only get better from here, I hope.

So I'm still trying to do the first fucking race, I think I'm gonna scrap my character and make another one and see if I can get through it that way.

Although it hasn't told me I cant start the job or activity when I try it like it did all day yesterday. Instead it just sits at that blurry view of the city sky line. If I try a solo session it just sits there at that screen, even if I do an invite only session it does the same thing but still says Waiting for Other Players in the bottom corner....

Just completed the race and lost. After I hit "X" to continue the game zoomed out of the map and all I heard were horns and sirens. I let it sit like that for 10 mins before shutting the game down.

you did. even my brother in law who is a bro dude and only plays cod and called me a "nerd" when i got skyrim for xmas liked the game once he played it.
