[PC] Building A Better Tower "BUILD IT HIGHER"

Once again it is the infamous IamMedellin bringing another self promotional thread to VSN cuz....well I needed a lil break from the Breaking Bad Marathon

but mostly bc the long awaited, took to long to become created New Tower is finally in pre production phase.....so Im still lookin thru cases, but this Is what im lookin at so far



video card is the most likely thing to be replaced, might go higher end or just run dual cards, but this is what my Q has got for me so far...

So im asking That PC master race to gimme a lil advice on this

Do you have a budget and timeframe to get this done? AMD is supposed to be releasing a new line of video cards pretty soon, and that might lower prices for their other cards a bit.

got cash flowing at the moment, so no real time frame though my current tower is on borrowed time ....budget is around $800

considering just going with the GFX off the motherboard and waiting for a price drop on the higher end GFX cards

That sounds ok short term. You probably won't be able to run newer games at high settings and resolutions very well with the integrated graphics though.

thanks for the link Krebs, got the processor and the SSD I wanted for a good deal bc of it

parts are ordered, went with the cooler master elite 130 mini ITX case and ordered a Western Digital WD Black WD2002FAEX 2TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s HDD since it was also on sale

holding back on a video card thou, waiting for something sexy to drop in price....whenever those new cards come out I guess

Wow you went Mini ITX I presume. Nice setup. How is cooling and temperatures??? That is a sexy card...you will murder games in 1080P on Max settings.

Borderlands 2 looks FUKIN AMAZING, DLing Metro Last light now and gonna compare to the PS3 version buy running them at the same time, then im either Starting Skyrim or FallOut3 tonight

bout a 49-50 degrees C avg so far in there, moved the Blk Box away from the heaters , got better airflow going now
thinking about cutting out a piece of the case on the Video card side and putting a lil Lexan over it like a window....its so fukin sexy
