I hate the NXE (another rant)

Don't get me wrong, I really like all of the new options and streamlined stuff. But ever since I downloaded this thing, which was not an option I might add, my browser is so ridiculously sluggish I want to kick a baby. Anytime I do anything with the guide button it takes forever to lad and sometimes just hangs or locks up for almost a minute. It really sucks when I try to accept a game invite and it locks up for a minute. The other person is like "What the fuck are you doing dude?" "Sorry, I'm waiting for this piece of shit to load up."
Plus when I try to check out items in the Marketplace and such it takes forever and a day to load the information. I just see that small 360 logo with the 'ripples' coming out of it.
And I know I'm not the only one. My wife has the problem also and she says several people that she plays CoD with complain about the same thing. Cheapy D from CAG was also complaining about the same thing in the most recent CAG podcast.

And I don't even know where to begin with the stupid ass waste of space avatars.

Not really, LOL. I guess I'm going through one of those stages where everything about the 360 pisses me off. Next week it will probably be the PS3.

Yea I get the same thing sometimes, pretty annoying. I wouldn't want to go to the old system because of it, but it would be nice if there was a way to reinstall it or something to see if it would fix problems like this.

Only reason i like the new one is the partys. Its so sick that we can all talk when playing a different game now. I remember when everyone would have to go play one game to talk.

that must've been a LONG time ago, because voice chat has always been available, regardless of the games that were being played. THe only difference is that you can talk to more than one person at a time now.

see, its the exact opposite for me. with the old blades (which actually look better if you ask me), it would take forever to bring stuff up for some reason. and if i hit the guide button (to look at a message or w/e) while a game was loading, it would either completely lock up the system and i would have to reboot, or it would run REALLLLLLLLY slow. but the NXE is so damn quick. i wish i could have everything that came with the NXE (faster, party system) with the look of the old blades.

no, not game saves or DL's....but if a update was done for a game then you will have to DL it again. But on the 360 it only takes seconds to do
