i have not played any online games. i really have not had any interest in this game. waiting for the OS roster

A guy on OS (STL fan) is posting pics of what night games at Busch Stadium looks like...not good. Seems it's the only stadium with the lighting problem.

edit: There are other stadiums with lighting problems....Busch is just the worst offender.

Patches to the rescue!

I would think but some are saying it won't be on Day One patch, so it might be awhile. But then again, since they are 1st party, it shouldn't be as long of a wait.

I wonder how many patches we will have to wait for before trying our new Show league.....or anyone's leagues for that matter.

Patches are probably the worst thing that has happened to console gaming......I remember back in the PS1/2 days games were delivered with far less problems out the box than they are now......now it's "push it out the door as is, we'll just patch it"

Not saying that mentality doesn't exist now.. but games are also way more advanced. So I think it is a combination of things that cause this.

And patches are really great to fix glitches that come up, too. But that mentality is really prevalent and so many games now have a Day One patch ready before you even load the game for the first time.

They do have more problems but most of those problems can now be fixed. I remember NBA LIVE '95 having the FT throw glitch. I got fouled with Dominique (on the Celtics...that's the biggest glitch) and having endless FT. I thought it was cool, until I had to restart the game. I had to wait till next year for that to be fixed. Another glitch that year was my whole season being wiped away and never playing another season because I feared it would be lost.

I disagree. If you can play online now it will be the same as when the game launches. I have not come across a case where this is not true.

Usually happens to me in COD. Monday night/Tuesday morning and afternoon is great. When people get home from work Tuesday and everyone is online, you run across numerous issues just trying to get connected.
