By the sharpness, I assume the bottom photo is the PS4 version, but that it's even in doubt really puts this whole next-gen thing in perspective. My Twitch video link: http://www.twitch.tv/dave374000

Quick Count speeds up the game by using an algorithm to create a generated pitch count. With this feature enabled, every at bat will start in either middle or late counts: 1-1, 2-1, 3-1, 0-2, 1-2, 2-2, and 3-1. The pitcher/batter attribute matchup will have an influence on the type of pitch down it sims to. Quick Counts will not compromise realistic stats, but you may see a slight increase in strike outs and walks. According to game designer and community specialist Ramone Russell, Quick Counts can cut your game completion times in half if used in conjunction with the Fast Play presentation setting.
"Games can now be completed in as little as 30 minutes," Russell notes.Comment

how does that make RTTS more appealing? instead of a full AB people actually only want one or two swings? I always play as a pitcher so its never an issue for me...but one thing that always bothered me about RTTS was when i tried to be a SS and found that the only time i saw action in the field was when the game decided it was time for me to field a hit. This struck me as totally lame because you always knew when to expect the ball
why even play it this way? why not just sim it and then distribute the points cause thats all generated counts is allowing you to do anywaysComment
