[360] Question about selling console & downloaded games.

I am going to sell my 360 on ebay and was wondering how it will work with my downloaded games. Will the purchaser be able to play the games I have gotten from the XBL marketplace even if I delete my account?

I did some googling, and from what I gathered the license for the games is tied to the console so they WILL be able to play the games even without my GT being on the console.

I just want to know if anyone here can verify that information?

Bonus question is can I get a prorated refund for my XBL subscription?

They are definitely licensed to the console directly. As long as they don't delete those games (thus forcing them to redownload them under a new GT), they will stay on there forever and they can play them both on and offline (I am relatively sure about the former, but I have never been in a situation to actually test that out). The only way to get them licensed to a new console is to log into that new console as the GT that the games are linked to, and redownload them. If you ever did redownload them, my guess would be that the next time they logged on, it would update those games and switch them back over to trial versions.

I have no idea on the XBL subscription. I would be completely shocked if they gave you any sort of refund for something like that. Companies don't tend to sell subscriptions and just give the money back, and the idea of MS doing it seems unlikely to me.
