Open Broadcaster Software.

I started out using FFSplit (also free), but OBS works much better for me.

I have used OBS as well...I felt it was a less intuitive.

If you have a 600 Series Nvidia card or newer you can stream from their Geforce Experience Application. It is very simple.

That only works with some games though right?

Also, Swarlos gave me a list of guys he likes to follow. Anyone else have some good accounts they watch?

I was under the impressions it works will all games...it will simply stream your screen. It is still in BETA though...

I suspect Steam will add Twitch support at some point.

Well I was having difficulty setting it up the first time. The Nvidia app is a simple as logging into twitch and hitting On....no set up required.

Definitely easier. I've heard good things about ShadowPlay, and I'm probably going to upgrade to a 700 series card sometime this year.

at this point I would wait for Maxwell 800 series cards...unless you find a great deal on a 770 or better.

OBS is pretty easy actually

Just right click in the sources box, select game capture, give it a name and select the exe you wish you use. (The game has to be running so you can select the .Exe.
