    [ALL] Fallout 4

Still upset about that massive Fallout 4 hoax? Here's some good news for you: The next entry in Bethesda's post-apocalyptic RPG series is real, it's in development right now, and, as rumored, it appears to be set in Boston, according to casting documents obtained by Kotaku.

    Boston is the setting.

    No hoax here.

Why Boston? I know they have some lore there with the Institute and all, but its not a very memorable place. Either way, I'm really excited, bit bummed its Bethesda doing this and not Obsidian(New Vegas developers) though.

Don't really think this is going to be anything but a great game. Just the right amount of time has passed between installments that this game won't have the "every year sequel" feel and can stand alone. I can't wait for the release.

New Vegas was alright, but not better than Fallout 3.

The faction stuff and hardcore mode pushed New Vegas ahead of 3 for me since I really enjoyed those aspects. The ending of 3 left a bad taste in my mouth too.

Why the fuck couldn't you just send Fawkes in to start the machine?

Obsidian is a very good developer, but I do feel for them that their two biggest games were piggybacked off two great RPGs, Knights of the Old Republic and Fallout 3. It's hard to see them as a standalone studio, even though I like their games.

plus new vegas was riddled with bugs. both games, sadly, lacked a quality ending though. i still remember following that silly robot through DC thinking, after 120 hrs, this is how its going to end....lol.

                  vegas story was forgettable

I liked New Vegas a lot, and it was a lot better than Skyrim. I just don't want Fallout 4 to be focuses on the world and pretty graphics like I felt Skyrim was. The world was massive, but there wasn't a whole lot to it. "Skyrim was an ocean; a mile wide, but an inch deep".

Also if they hired more than 5 voice actors, that would be great.

Not fallout 4 related, but Gog is giving away fallout 1, 2, and tactics.
