Nintendo announced a collaboration with Tecmo Koei for a Zelda-themed Dynasty Warriors tentatively called Hyrule Warriors.

A short trailer showed Link blasting through fields of enemies in front of a castle, complete with staples of the Dynasty Warriors series such as deluxe spinning attacks, bosses, and upgraded weapons.

Hyrule Warriors is slated for the Wii U some time in 2014.

remember MGS revengence.... where the idea of MGS4's Raiden in a DMC/Bayonetta kind of game sounded so fukin awesome...

and then when you played it, you kinda just wished they made a straight up Metal gear game instead...

kinda reminds me of that...with Link stepping out in to something a lil different with this dynasty warriors type feel..

Speaking of which, I despise when people refer to him as Ganondorf.

After watching the trailer on YouTube and before even seeing the comments Swarley posted, or before knowing that Tecmo-Koei was behind this, my imeediate thought was "Zelda meets Dynasty Warriors".
