Really liked the way 343 changed the direction of Halo.

Elaborate please. I bought Halo 4 and was very excited...then gave up after realizing it was the same stupid activate pillar...fight off covenant...run to next pillar flip switch..fight off covenant. Plus like GOW , Halo added too many dumb way weapons.
Last Halo game I really enjoyed was Reach.

As for Halo 2. Meh if you ask me it jumped the shark with 2. The SP campaign started well , was getting interesting at the end but was a convoluted mess in the middle. MP was awesome though.
