They state in the damn article the xbone version is locked at 30 and the ps4 is unlocked. They also say the ps4 suffers from frame drops causing input lag and screen judder. So yea, none of this shit matters lol...

How is that defensive? They say it in the article. I'm quoting them, not going LULZ XBONE, LULZ PS4. I don't give a shit about this game either way, but you idiots grasping at straws is hilarious.
Jms hit the nail on the head, none of this shit mattered till now, it's just idiots being idiots about idiot things because they are idiots.
I'm pretty sure console gamers "just now worrying about FPS" is pretty far off base.
Sent from my Samsung Galaxy SIII using Tapatalk.
I remember when Madden 08 was running at 60 fps on 360 compared to 30 fps on the PS3. Although then, it was an issue of the developers not being familiar with the PS3's architecture.
Don't think its that console gamers care more about FPS now than in the past. Its more about why this console that is $100 cheaper is consistently outperforming its primary competitor.
I find it so funny how console gamers are so concerned about fps all of a sudden.
For a port of a PS3/360 game, they should. Unless you don't own it or haven't played it, there's no reason to buy it without a significant boost in looks and performance.
There's a reason why sites like Digital Foundry have been so popular over the last decade. Console gamers have always been big on comparisons between multiplatform games, including framerate, graphical fidelity, etc. I think it's just that JMS didn't care because he's a PC whore.
