I'm tempted to try it out just for baseball on the Xbox.

As for this, I couldn't find it anywhere on the PS Store yesterday. I was hoping to at least try a demo.

Tried the demo today on 360. No chance in hell I drop $20 on this. Fielding, especially as an outfielder, is a nightmare. The game has zero depth ... and without the ability to play online is pretty much useless. This is a game, like RBI 4, that needs to be played against a human opponent. I remember playing RBI 4 on a table top arcade vs. guys I knew at a bar in 1987. Those games were a blast.
I get what these guys are attempting with RBI 14, but it simply doesn't work without online play ... and we've become too accustomed to having features and this game has none.
If you live in a college dorm and can always find a human opponent, spend the $20. Otherwise, just try the demo.My Twitch video link: http://www.twitch.tv/dave374000

It was the demo you clown.
I played it once. It's basic, which is what I expected. They only let you play three innings with the Red Sox and Cardinals. If this game kept season stats and had online I'm pretty sure I'd buy it, even at $20. But no way is it worth a purchase missing those features.Comment

It's really confusing why this game wouldn't even have online. 99% of games now have online, and it's become expected unless you are playing a story-driven narrative. Even a game like that in Assassin's Creed eventually added an online component.
This game was released solely to capture money from people without a PS3/4 who like baseball. Even then it's still a travesty not to have online or stats.Comment
