Is Madden 25 worth $39.99?

Sorry for not answering this earlier.

It seems that all the PS3 guys have issues with load times, menu load times and what-not ... and 360 EA Sports games always look better than PS3 games and run in 1080p.
All the issues PS3 guys had with Madden disappeared with the PS4 Madden.

Ok. I do think that the PS3 versions have looked a bit "off" the past few years. Games in rain and in domes look weird. The lighting appears off. As for loading times, they seemed to be the same to me.

Just EA being lazy. There's no excuse why those same issues persist year after year.

Game is worth it IMO....

Now don't get me wrong the game is far from perfect and the announcing gets dull very fast but with some tweaks to gameplay and camera angle I think this years version is a really solid game to have in your collection.

And just a heads up if you like Classic rosters with guys like Montana, Elway, Reggie White, Warren Moon and Bo Jackson grab the XBOX version as I have an entire decade of Madden Football 1990's rosters to use for added replay value.

You will probably start to see more complete rosters in the 2nd year of the New Systems.

Everything has to be created from the ground up which means more guys will have to actually role up their sleeves and put in the hours in order to have those kinds of rosters on Next Gen.

Just from my experience when building Classic rosters from the ground up it usually takes about a year and half to get a nice quality roster set out to the community.

There are some guys who can get it done sooner but usually those rosters are incomplete as you mentioned and only focus on the Star players and not the entire team(s).

Classic rosters are always good to have on older games just in case EA starts to get lazy on us with the New Systems and not make much progress in those 1st few years like they did with Last Gen consoles.

I didn't start enjoying Madden again until Madden 11....I went almost 3-4 years without really playing the game and enjoying it once it hit XBOX 360.

On the PS3 version there was someone that copied over a lot of your rosters and it definitely made the game a lot more fun.

Not 100% sure, but I think you can use these rosters online in unranked games if you invite someone on your friends list to a game.

I didn't realize the file could be copied to PS3....

That's good news.....might want to let him know for future reference since the original version I've also added a few new teams now the 1996 Panthers, 1992 Oilers, 1999 Colts (was missing initial defense) and 2000 Ravens which will be finished this coming week.

That will leave me with just 3 teams to complete the file in full 1990 Bengals, 1994 Browns and 1999 Seahawks.

Hopefully, someone will figure out how to convert 90's roster to Madden 15 that way I can just work on a different era of the game 1970's rosters for XBOX One.
