According to you and I.... according the the reviewers and overall metacritic score... there is. That is where business decisions are made.

They will say "we didn't have true step and realistic player movement in Madden 06 and it had an 85" ... "but it did have x_____ gimmick"... "that's what people want obviously"

That is your opinion and I have tried to be nice about it. You are inherently wrong. Take it down a notch... only warning. A civilized discussion does not call for that language or agenda pushing. Take that stuff to the locker room.

Anyway, these arent opinions, these are facts. This game is a roster update with minimal improvements when it comes to what you see on field. They jip us year in and year out with a roster update with new menus, slightly cleaner graphics and some gimmick thats gonna dissapear in a cycle or 2. As for agendas, you are the only one benefiting from an agenda. I lose/get nothing out of this whether Im positive or negative. You defend and try to justify their minimal improvements no matter the evidence. Its ironic that we have "game changers" who can give 2 shits about things being changed, if this wasnt the case you wouldnt be so adamant about defending their honor every time something negative is said. You cant be in bed with these developers and act like you are neutral.

EA only cares about the bottom line and in doing that they piss off their base (u know, the guys who play the game year round) and leave people like you to do damage control for some meaningless perks. Im sure there are a handful of guys on the development team that may want things geared towards realism but the product doesnt reflect that so these guys are collateral damage when it comes to the court of public opinion.

Buckeye handled this a lot nicer than I would have had I seen it first. The next time you call anyone on our staff a name like that and you'll lose your access to the gaming forum for a long time along with a possible outright forum ban.

Caught? Typical rhetoric from a 2k fanboy. Make zero sense, be completely dishonest. There is no need for damage control. None... the steps forward on Next Gen were immediately obvious. What was NBA 2k on Next Gen? Upgraded graphics and they went from half broken gameplay to completely broken game modes... congrats... the most traded in game by FAR on Next Gen. And yet you call out Madden in which the gameplay is leaps and bounds better, the game modes are all functioning properly... and they are actually handling issues found instead of ignoring them.

Feel free to call out any game on these forums, but at least provide some substance behind it and also point out what they do right.

when I started putting together that the internet and videogames combined for this bizarre subculture a few years ago and saw youtube videos of all these pro-con weirdo's, This Ruckus guy did a lot of videos and was really into it himself.
I don't think you can make fun of or fault the guy too much for doing this. Its how he's dealing with finding out it really doesn't matter....his so called job with them and ideas wasn't as important as he thought it would be...LOL granted that learning curve is slow because he's still breaking down video game video's and player reactions.


this has less to do with the game and more to do with adults giving video games more importance than they should. The internet age has bred a form of immature pseudo intellectual that talks about a toy like its a major social political issue or a big ticket item like a car or washing machine. Or a dumb ass tv show like walking Dead like its some major drama where forums are made to break down the true meaning of each episode LOL its just another dumb ass ,mind numbing tv show and excuse for bloody special effects...not to mention this generation is so childish because a majority of shows are adopted from comic books.
