[PS4] Have you ever just lost a game?

For the first time in 20 years or so, I have actually lost a game disc. I cannot find my disc of NBA2k14 for the ps4 to save my life. Have no clue how it got lost. It wasn't a drinking incident. I played it Feb. 1, was on a bit of a gaming hiatus and went to play it Feb. 7 and simply can't find the disc anywhere. It's driving me kinda nuts, because I have no clue where the damn disc is.
That said ...
I still had 2k13 for my 360, so I popped it in, updated the rosters ... and jeez, I didn't feel like I lost anything and frankly prefer the full-featured game. For the life of me, I swear that damn NBA2k14 disc will show up somewhere.

Absolute worst. I have a couple empty game cases from college where my games just disappeared, never to be found again. Blame the cats (really).

I swear that's gonna be the case, but I have never done that ever ... and, again, honestly, this is not a drinking thing. I rarely, if ever, game and drink. I prefer to just listen to music and argue with conbots on this site when I drink.

And no NotSoSuperKevin ... won't be in the cat box, unless she thought the disc was food (a possibility) and pooped it out.

Checked the couch cushions, lifted the couch to see if it was underneath it, lifted the area rug, etc... This is driving me crazy (ok, more crazy) ... but, like I wrote, it's so odd how 2k13 on the 360 makes me miss nothing about 2k14 for the ps4, other than the $60 I paid for the damn game.

Check every case you have because its probably in one of the other ones.

I never put my current games in their cases, I simply pile them up together without the cases. I was stunned when, for the first time in over 20 years, a disc wasn't there.

I only watch DVDs and Blu-Rays on my ps3 ... not my ps4. I have the remote control for the ps3.

I get that. The thought of losing a game just baffles me. The last time I lost a game was the Playstation 1 era after a break and enter. That I understood.

The worst thing I do is never put the game away in the right case, so once I've built up a decent sized game library I have to open them all up and reorganize if I'm trying to find one of my older games.
