I think the worst example of DLC for a game is with the Tiger Woods franchise. That shit was ridiculous. It was like buying an extra game or two just so you could have more than a handful of courses to play at.

Then they plunk down way too much money to get three hours of gameplay in two installments. Had it been $10 or $15 and one piece of content then I wouldn't have an issue with it. All they were doing was trying to make their pathetic Season Pass look better.
If the hardcore fans are happy with their $30 investment, who cares?

I don't think I have ever bought DLC before. Just haven't been interested enough in anything that's been offered to pay more than the price of the game itself. I don't really play much of anything besides sports games though so usually DLC wouldn't do anything to my experience anyways.

If anyone is happy spending $30 for maybe three hours of a game, any game, theyneed their fucking head examined.

And not to mention that if enougnof those fans exist, that company will continue that shitty practice, and probably others too. It's not like we're talking about some podunk developer here. So yeah, I care a great deal.

I always thought it was hilarious that the Wii version of, I think Tiger '10, had like three times as many courses as the 360/PS3 version and had extra modes like frisbee and mini golf. Swinging with the Wiimote was quite fun too.

Of course those courses did come later to the other versions...as expensive dlc.

Just wait until they come out with the GOTY edition that has all of the DLC on the disk.

I will say this is one thing I hate. Twigg will agree with me. The price of the DLC should drop as the game ages. Why is DLC to a game 3 years old, still $10? Enslaved is a perfect example of doing it right on the PS3. The DLC was $10 at launch and then at some point almost 2 years later they dropped it to $5. Twigg and I both bought it. If more games did this, they would make more money because no one is paying full price DLC to a game thats MSRP us cheaper then the DLC itself. (Assassins Creed)

I laughed aloud with the thought EA makes any effort to make hardcore fans happy.
I would love to see some info graphics on who buys DLC.
Best reason to have a license.

Or they can take that $30 to go see a 2 hour movie... $30 for 3 hours isn't horrible

                      Casual gamers rarely buy DLC.

I bought all of the DLC for BF3 and BF4 before it even released (Premium)

Also bought most of the courses on TW14 because my OCD wouldn't let me skip a course on the PGA Tour :o

Other than that DLC doesn't interest me

Pretty sure I got all the DLC on Tiger 14. Same for Borderlands 1&2. Skyrim, plenty of Nfut, MuT and Lut coins... so yeah I get all the DLC for games I enjoy.
