Does anyone know when Sony kills the servers for MLB The Show?

Or if they do at all? I'm not a hardcore online baseball guy although I did buy The Show 13. I have yet to open it, LOL. I did open my Vita copy and played that a bit. I played a bunch of 12 on the Vita. Anyway, I'm curious about the servers. My buddy and I played a few games of Madden online yesterday and he mentioned he he wants to pick up a baseball game and start playing that online since baseball is just around the corner. He only has a PS3 and I told him if I was going to get a baseball game this year I would get it for PS4. But I told him I have 13 and he should be able to pick up a copy of 13 cheap and we could just play that. But it would be pointless if we can't play each other once 14 drops. We have a nice online franchise going in Madden that just started season 3 and it would be nice to be able to start something similar in baseball.

Heck, does The Show even have servers or is it all P2P? I thought I remember people complaining that all of the issues with the lag online was because it didn't actually use servers anyway?

    Any help would be appreciated.

They shut down the server for MLB 12 The Show this past September if that's any help.

Ok. It might be worth it if we can play until basically the post season of the real baseball season.

I think you could probably still play offline after they shut it down though. I know some guys who still play '12, but obviously not online.

theshownation.com or operationsports.com should be good sources for news in the future. TSN doesn't get updated much though.

Ha. Yeah, offline shouldn't be an issue obviously.
