    [ALL] Batman: Arkham Knight

BATMAN: ARKHAM KNIGHT Getting Announced in DC All Access Tuesday?

Update 5:20pm EST: Well, that was fast. After our story ran, BleedingCool followed-up with a name to the mystery game: Batman: Arkham Knight. The news and rumor site gave the name definitively, and has been right several times in the past about what's coming on the following day's DC: All Access show.

Batman: Arkham Knight was one of the domain names registered last year, according to GameInformer's list, alongside Arkham Origins. A quick check of the domain on WhoIs.com shows that it was registered by the same agency as the past titles in the series, and that they updated the domain on December 10, 2013.

More on Arkham Knight is expected tomorrow when the new episode goes live.

Game Informer April Cover Revealed – Batman: Arkham Knight

The developer that made Arkham a household name is back. Rocksteady Studios' Arkham Asylum innovated with the freeflow combat system and stalking gameplay in 2009, and the team blew it all out to an open world in 2011's Arkham City. Rocksteady is hoping to raise the bar even higher on what will be its final Arkham game. Set after the events of Arkham City, Batman: Arkham Knight may just end the Dark Knight's journey.

As you've probably guessed from the cover imagery, the Batmobile is finally a core element of the gameplay. An entirely new area of Gotham City, far larger than Arkham City, has much wider streets to accommodate the new driving gameplay that is designed to integrate smoothly with Batman's gliding and grappling traversal. Batman chases down super villains Scarecrow, Penguin, Two-Face, Harley Quinn, and more.

Arkham Knight will release later this year on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. We've got 14 action-packed pages loaded with the first details and a whole month of exclusive content here on gameinformer.com.

I thought that Origins was surprisingly great. Despite the fact that Rocksteady is on this one, I'm still finding it hard to get excited. I felt the same way about Origins though, going in, so maybe it will surprise me.

I'm with Seth. I loved Origins. I've even said that it actually may be my favorite of the three games.

Just take what you had with the previous games and add in some vehicle pursuits with the Batmobile? Boner Jams '03.

I thought Origins was good. It didn't have that same spark as Arkham City for me, though, and it was obvious that WB wanted to push another Batman game out there while Rocksteady took their time to develop their game for next-gen. Rocksteady has wowed me both times so far and I have no reason to doubt them this time. I'm completely stoked for this game.
