And no you aren't arguing over global numbers since that is the title of the thread and you are somehow assuming that if MS was able to get a foothold overseas that they would turn it down because they dont care about overseas sales. Even though they tried it before and it crashed and burned.

japan isnt that big of a market really... the ps3 sold what, 9 million units in its lifetime over there? if MS cant sell 1 million, they will be happy... the focus is on china this go round, both companies will try their best to get a foothold there...
