Well, I guess I need to get onto Black Flag. I didn't make it an hour into the game.

It's a yearly installment like Call of Duty. I am out of the loop, but if I recall last time around, there were some people complaining about the yearly offerings and it getting to the point of COD.

They've been able to keep things fresh though. The ship portion of III and Black Flag, while I didn't like them, was something new and innovative and something people clearly enjoyed.

if they made a game all about the boats and just expanded on the current boats functions that would be awesome.

there was a boat war game a few years back that had huge potential. its systems were flawed, the overall it was a fun wartime battlehsip game you could play online. i forget the name

Total War tried to do that, but apparently the ship combat was woefully broken.

I got about 30% of the story done and now I've spent the rest of the time upgrading my boat.

I think Black Flag is a pretty great game. The playable world is huge and there's a bunch of minigames.

What they will be able to do in the world now is going to be great, but combat still is the same it's always been. I play AC games because I love the graphics, story and the worlds they put you in, but it would be nice to get an upgraded combat system now that we will be a year into next-gen when the game rolls out.
